About Daydream Farm
Daydream Farm is owned and operated by Richele Grieb who eats, sleeps and breathes horses and her farm.
Richele has been around horses her entire life. She rode and showed reining horses when she was young then she went to college where she earned a degree as a Herdsman, which is a veterinarian who specializes in cattle. When she was about 20-years-old, Richele bought her first thoroughbred racehorse and fell in love with the sport. Five years after she bought her first racehorse she bought Daydream Farm, which at that time was fairly rundown having stood empty for the previous three years. In the ensuing 15 years, Richele has transformed her farm into a showplace facility known for providing the best care for broodmares, lay-ups and rehabbing of competition horses of all disciplines and breeds.
“I am very hands on” explains Richele “I believe my passion for the horses and this way of life are what makes this farm tick. I have always operated my farm under the premise that no matter if the horse cost $300 or $3 million, I will take the same great care of it”.
